Undead Nations – Breach – B10

In my experience with UN, Breach B10 (B10 from now on) is was the first area that required a little bit of strategy.

While “Bill” seems like an ordinary melee character, “Infected Bill” is another beast.

On top of his usual skill – his attack speed increases as his attack lands a hit, as a boss, he has additional perks

  • Immune to stun
  • Damage received reduced
  • Partial recovery of damage dealt

You also have the standard breach of time limit -1:15

So let’s break this down – the mobs you get before Bill isn’t much trouble from any other zoms.

You will then get Bill at the end of the map.

For those who don’t have the patience to read on, at HQ level 6, I cleared it on a lv 11 team – Don’t forget to take advantage of the lounge.

  • Claudia (tank)
  • Doc (heal)
  • Jay (only one lv 15)
  • Yoona (3 star, very important)
  • Victor (hey, they do give you a hint to say “wheelchair?)

Why do you fail, and why does this team work? (and what are the alternatives.

First, Claudia and Doc are there as a wall (tank). You have any other replacement, Hank, Soldier #17 should work- yet to test on other tanky types. – To replace Doc, you can go with Soldier #88. – Their job is to hold Bill off the squishy DPS as long as possible – possibly the end.

DPS

As there’s only one Bill (sometimes, you can’t clear the last mob before Bill gets to your tank, but that’s life), you have to fill the last 3 slots with high damaging single target DPS.

Yoona – She was recommended in the official forum, so when I got her, I gave her a try. SHE HAS TO BE 3 STARRED. It’s her third perk that is the key – damage scaling to HP.

Jay – I was lucky enough to get him on my first premium drop as 3 star and lv 15. Just overall perfect candidate for single target DPS.

Victor – Again, he is recommended in the opening scene, and when you get the game, he makes sense – pushback. Bill is immune to stun, but not to push back – this gives you precious seconds to push him back and for him to have to walk back to you.

Tactics

I used Snipe and Medical assistance – Medical assistance gives you a few more second for the tank to survive, and the snipe gives you that push to kill Bill (no pun intended).

What will not work

Full frontal assault – Like I said in the beginning, at the level you would be expected to be (around lv 11 survivors) it will be tough to go full-frontal YOLO combat.

Stun-lock – If you were lucky enough to get stun characters and you have been used to it (like Wilma), again, this level was designed to just break you.

I will be testing another team – Hank – #88, Old man hunter, Yoona, Victor – which should work.

Other survivors to consider – Sharon (3 star for her knockback), Doug (3 star if possible, but I am yet to test how well the roar works to keep him alive), #17 (would help if you have his 3star for extra survivability), Brock (3 star for his knockback).

If not, just level up your HQ, and hit them hard when your survivor level is higher. 🙂
