Welcome to F2P Nation – where Geeks rules.
For those who aren’t familiar with the term, F2P stands for Free to Play. With the shift in the gaming culture, there are now many games available to play for free. My aim is to help people get the most out of these games.
Disclaimer, I don’t play 100% F2P, but I have a day job and a family to support, so I spend very very litte – most often just the beginner’s pack for a few bucks. My basic philosopy is that – there are devs, designers, marketing people like myself trying to make a buck to support themselves, so it’s not about if it’s right to pay or not, and I believe in supporting the games that I do enjoy playing.
As a personal background – I have always played games, since I was a kid, always leaning towards strategy games. Before I sunk my teeth into computers, I played Magic the gathering. When I got my hands on a computer, I moved to RTS, then to 4X games, not to forget, the WOW days…
Then the age of mobile came..
Because of my day job, I am also interested in different apps, not just games, and from time to time, I would like to comment on a few of those.
